Obituary of Laura Lou Shannon

Laura Lou Shannon, 80, of Louisa, KY passed away Friday, August 19, 2022, at her home. Ms. Shannon was born January 20, 1942, in Louisa, Kentucky to the late Riley J. and Louva Gladys Childers Shannon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Billy Don Shannon and Willis “Hap” Shannon.

She is survived by two nieces, Karen (Brian) Coleman and Glenda (Tony) Cole; one nephew, James (Wendy) Shannon, two double first cousins, Sue Rutherford and George Wendell Shannon and a host of extended family.

She was an insurance secretary.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Thursday, August 25, 2022, at Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Gene Davis officiating.
