Lasonya Locklear, 54, of Ashland, KY passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2022. Locklear was born July 29, 1968, in Laurinburg, North Carolina to the late Harriel and Opal Johnson Locklear. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Locklear, and a niece, Seeson Locklear. 

She is survived by her mother Opal (Johnson) Locklear; one brother, Ricky Locklear; one sister, Sheila Locklear; two nephews, Alexander McGuire and Riley McGuire; two nieces, Mary Elizabeth Baker and Norriel Oxendine; and two great nephews, Chance Locklear and Jayden Croucher.                                      

She was a Housing Manager.

Graveside services will be conducted at 4:00 PM on Friday, September 2, 2022, at Greenlawn Cemetery with Bro. Mike Fyffe officiating.  All care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.
