Charles E. Messmer, 66, of Louisa, KY passed away Monday, October 3, 2022. Charles was born January 9, 1956, in Wyandot County, Ohio to the late Charles Walter and Beverly Nunley Messmer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Benjamin Messmer. 

 

He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Jean Messmer; one son, Joshua (Lindsey) Snider; one daughter, Andrea (Desmond) Buggs; one brother, William (Leisha) Messmer; three sisters, Pamela  (Steven) Gossman, Brenda (Roger) Phillips, and Babs (Ken) Atwell; and nine grandchildren, Shannon, Zion, Alaina, Luke, Dan, Addison, Eden, Mikayla, and Mariah.                                          

 

He was a coal miner previously, but obtained his electrician license and was a construction supervisor the last few years before retiring.

 

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, October 11, 2022, at Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Nunley officiating. Burial will follow in the Riverview Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit the family on Monday, October 10 from 6:00 – 9:00 PM at the Wilson Funeral Home. All care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.»(Do not delete this line.
