Robert Brooks Moore 82 of Louisa, KY passed away Saturday June 1, 2013 at the Huntington VA Medical Center following a long illness. Robert was born Feb. 14, 1931 at Mattie, KY, the son of the late Dillon and Fannie Thompson Moore. He was a owner/operator truck driver for B & L Motor Freight, Ryder Ranger, and Dana Corp, served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict, and a member of the Church of Christ Newark, Ohio. Survivors include his loving wife Julia Fern Smith Moore, a daughter and son-in-law Vonnie and Craig Lute of Indiana; two sons Robert B. and Jenny Moore of Flatwoods, KY and Mark Eugene Moore of Utica, Ohio; ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. A memorial celebration will be held on Saturday June 8th at 2:00 pm at the home of Julia Moore at 683 Longfork Road, Louisa, KY.
