Obituary of James Russell Lemaster

James Russell Lemaster 87 of Louisa passed away Tuesday November 15, 2022 at 6:55 a.m. at his daughters home in Lowmansville, Johnson County Kentucky. He was born August 25,1935 in Johnson County Kentucky to parents Levi and Elmina Kimbler Lemaster. He was preceded in death by his parents and loving wife Barbara C. Thompson Lemaster, daughter Kimberly Sweeney, grandson James Michael Blackburn( Kim’s eldest), his sisters Alka, Alta, Gusta, Ruth, Opal, brothers Hebert (Shorty), Bob, Jack, John, Leonard. Surviving are his children James Lemaster, Barbara Ann(Corlis) Ferguson, Tammy (Jess) Sleasman, grandson Marcus(Amanda), Cameron, Keira Ferguson who helped take care of him. 

His grandchildren Harm Russell( Andrea), James Wade( Angie), Billy Joe(Amanda) Lemaster, Wendy Sikes, Jessie(Chris) Jacobs, Jami Brook(Michael) Albright, Jody Price, Joshua Blackburn, Seth, Buck, Brandon Sleasman, Erik(Melissa) Hastings, sister-in-laws Bonnie Lemaster, Edith Thompson, special first cousin Billy(Sandra)Kimbler, niece Gale(Terry) Collier, nephew Malcom (Lydia) Kimbler. 31 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, host of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, family and friends. Russell will be laid to rest with Barbara in the Thompson cemetery on 1690 in Louisa, Lawrence County Kentucky
