Please share a memory of Jaye to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Jaye “Louise” McNeal Allison Morrow, age 77 of Louisa, KY was called away to her heavenly home on Monday, June 10, 2013. Louise was born October 18, 1935 in Albia, Iowa, the daughter of the late Clifford Frank McNeal and Irma Faye Van Gilder McNeal Francis. Louise was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Elmer Morrow Jr. and three sons, Jimmy Jay, Robert Wayne and James Paul, as well as numerous brothers and sisters. Louise is leaving behind one son, Ronald Lee Morrow and wife Gaylene of Paintsville, KY along with four daughters; Linda Collen Bostic and fiance’ Doug Harlow of Elizabethtown, KY, Sandra Arlene Holbrook and husband Byron of Louisa, KY, Kathryn Louise Webb and husband Heath also of Louisa, KY and Kimberly June Prater and husband Paul David of Lowmansville, KY. She also leaves 13 grandchildren: Ronald “Jason” Morrow and wife Laura, Jamie Rae Erickson and husband Steven, Jonathan Daniel Morrow and wife Elizabeth, Gena Lynn Prater and husband Michael, Brandy LeAnn Triplett, Carla Louise Marcum and husband Daniel, Amanda Lee Cox, and husband Jason, Jonathon “Derek” Morrow Prater, Emily Kathryn Webb, Ellie Klaire Webb, James “Blake” Morrow Prater, Cindy Sanderson and husband Steve, and Sonny Jay Tickle and wife Tina. There are 21 great-grandchildren, along with brothers, sisters countless friends and other loved ones. Life is such a wonderful gift and only during death does the living honestly reflect on how powerful our Father in Heaven is. As Louise enters those pearly gates and sees the precious face of our Master as He says “Welcome Home My Child”, then treads those streets of gold, with no more sickness, sorrow, or pain, we surely mourn only for ourselves because our earthy loss is purely Heavens’ gain. Her life embodied what living truly is about. She loved children, but her children and grandchildren more than anything. Each child, grandchild, great-grandchild, family member, friend and foe will remember Louise in a different way. She was many different things to many different people. She was first a daughter and sister, then a cousin and an Aunt, not to mention a wife and mom, and finally she was a grandma, a Meemaw, a Mamaw, and a Nana, all the while being someone’s friend, confidant, mentor, and a hero. Louise’s gift of life was given, allowed to flourish for 77 years, and then in a single instant it was taken away. As we look back now at her life we are reminded that “life should not be measured by the number of breathes we take, but instead by the number of moments that take our breathe”. Louise was loving, honest, dependable, determined, and compassionate to a fault. She touched more lives than she even realized. She created those breaths taking moments for her-self and others each day she lived. So although it is customary to mourn her passing, please don’t forget to also celebrate the time you shared with here and how blessed she made our life. Until we are all once again together on the other side, cherish your memories of her, love one another, laugh to help heal the spirit, and live to make her proud because that’s what she would have wanted.
