Obituary of Richard Terry Parsley

Richard Terry Parsley 70 of Louisa, KY passed away December 22, 2022 following a brief illness.

Richard was born October 15, 1952 at Columbus, Ohio the son of the late John and Juanita Dillon Parsley.  In addition to his parents Richard is preceded in death by a sister Teresa Hopper, a brother-in-law Harold Chaffin, and a great grandson Maddox Warren.

He was a retired Water Supply Mechanic for the CSX Railroad and served in the United States Navy during Vietnam.

Survivors include his loving wife Wanda Pack Parsley; a son Rick Parsley and wife Dana; a daughter Kelly Parsley; Grandchildren Kimberly Howard, Jordan Stevens, Emma Hambrick, Alexis Parsley, and Andrew Parsley; three great grandchildren; a sister Mary Chaffin and a brother Robert Parsley and wife Glenna.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday December 27th at 1:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Workman officiating. Burial will follow in the Castle Cemetery on Sunnyside Road Fort Gay, WV. Friends may visit the family on Tuesday December 27th from 11:00 am until time of services at the Wilson Funeral Home.

Care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.
