Obituary of Hubert Lyons

Hubert Lyons 95 of Gallup, Kentucky passed away January 24, 2023 at his home following a brief illness.

Hubert was born December 7, 1927 at Paintsville, Kentucky the son of the late Sam and Telia Borders Lyons. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Charlene Moore Lyons; sisters Opal Church, Virginia Stidnam, and Zelphie Shannon; brothers Mitch and Walt Lyons. Hubert was a retired furnace operator for Vulcan Materials Inc.

Survivors include three daughters Jerina (Dean) Keller, Beverly (Rick) Noon, and Darlene (Pete) Vanhorn; a son Ron Lyons; seven grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

Graveside funeral services will be held on Saturday January 28th at 3:30 pm at the Riverview Memorial Gardens with Rev. Noah Wilks and Rev. Cody Noon officiating. Friends may visit the family on Saturday January 28th from 2:00 to 3:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home.
