Q: What was one of your favorite qualities of Debra?
A: Granny was the only person who would sit and listen to anyone who needed to talk. She understood more than anyone ever did. That was always one of my favorite things about her and always will be. She sat and listened to me multiple times when I needed to talk and always had my back.

Debbie was such a great person mother, sister, aunt, and granny she loved everyone she would take in all the kids and adults u can bet if u needed to lay ur head down or a drink she would let u and give u a drink and food in ur belly I don’t know anyone that didn’t like or love Deb she was my favorite aunt growing up I stayed with her more then I was home even my adult years I stayed with her she was definitely like a mother to me I will miss her so very much.

Q: What will you never forget about Debra?
A: Her sayings “God don’t like ugly” “God made dirt and dirt don’t hurt.” She gave us all our first drink of soda growing up and she pierced everybodies ears , nose, bellybutton.

I’ll always remember my Aunt Deb being so loving and having that contagious laugh. She loved her children, grandchildren, and everybody who stepped in her path. I know she isn’t suffering anymore. She is in a beautiful place walking around the streets of gold. We love you forever and will miss you always.
