Dorothy "Jacki" Calhoun, 80, of Catlettsburg, KY passed away on February 21, 2023 following a brief illness. 

Jacki was born November 29, 1942 in Sans Branch, KY to the late Shelby Blankenship and Myrtle (Berry) Blankenship. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ray Calhoun; two sisters, Irene Sparks and Joy Calhoun; three brothers, Willie Blankenship, Jim Blankenship and Ronald Blankenship.

Survivors include one daughter Sherry (David) Opell; two grandsons, Jeremy (Morgan) Opell and Brent Opell; three great-grandsons, Jackson Opell, Barret Harmon and Blaine Griffith; one great-granddaughter Brinley Griffith; two sisters, Maxine Salyers and Shelby Wallace; and a special niece, Judy Thompson.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, February 24, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Wilson Funeral Home with Pastor Grant Grafton and Pastor Everett Swafford officiating. Burial will follow in the Berry Cemetery in Louisa, KY. Friends may visit the family from 6:00 PM-9:00 PM on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at Wilson Funeral Home.

Care for Jacki and her family has been entrusted to our family at Wilson Funeral Home.
