Obituary of Joshua Wesley Casdorph

Joshua Wesley Casdorph 41 of Fort Gay, WV passed away in his home on February 19, 2023.

Josh was born September 19, 1981, at Huntington, WV. He is the son of Lula Belle O'Brian Casdorph of Fort Gay and the late Keith Bradley Casdorph.

Josh was a graduate of Tolsia High School as well as Ashland Community College where he earned a degree in Machine Tool Technology, following in his father’s footsteps. He was a hard-working man, and a jack of all trades, who insisted on perfection with anything he touched. Josh loved his family more than anything.

He was preceded in death by his loving father, Keith Bradley Casdorph and a host of grandparents, aunts, and uncles.

His survivors include his mother, Lula Belle O’Brian Casdorph; three sisters, Sarah Casdorph and Travis Cain, Melissa Casdorph, and Amanda Rose and husband Gary Rose all of Fort Gay, WV. He is survived by his two children Wesley Casdorph and Brady Casdorph of Speedwell, Tennessee. Josh is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Charlie Hanshaw, Kennedy Casdorph, Bella Casdorph-Webster and wife Allie Webster, Bailey Einfeldt and husband Gary Einfeldt, Emily Rose, Hannah Stephens and husband Kyle Stephens, Cody Rose and wife Abbie Rose; great nephews, Ryker Einfeldt, Benjamin Stephens, and Tayte Rose; and great nieces Autumn Stephens and Maymee Rose.

Friends and families may visit on Friday February 24, 2023, at 6:00 PM at the Oak Grove Church, on Paddle Creek Road in Fort Gay, WV. Funeral services will be held on Saturday February 25, 2023 at 1:00 PM with Reverend Mack Ray Cyrus officiating. Josh will be laid to rest in the O’Brian family cemetery following his service.
