Oh Freddie, I remember spending many days with you and Sue working on Grandpa West farm, Sue cooked and we were field hands. And going down to Blain creek midday when grandpa was taking his mid day nap. I stayed there for twenty days to earn forty dollars, I was saving to but a Remington 22 rifle. But when it came time to get paid I only got thirty six dollars, because he didn’t pay for days that it rained because we didn’t work in the fields on those days. We still had to feed the stock and do all the odds and ends, I was disappointed and never got that rifle.
Oh Freddie you are well remembered. May God hold you close.
Freddie’s farther was my uncle North, which was my mothers brother.
