Ira Lee Preston 56 of Tadpole Road Louisa passed away March 20, 2023 at his home surrounded by his family.

Lee was born July 11, 1966 at Xenia, Ohio, the son of Ira Preston and the late Glenda Sue Lemaster Preston. He was disabled iron worker and proudly served in the United States Army.

Survivors include his loving wife Sherry Clay Preston; a daughter Paige Preston; a son and daughter-in-law Brody and Beth Preston; his father Ira Preston; a brother and sister-in-law Eric and Cheri Preston; grandchildren Conner Preston, Aubrey Preston, and Kyson Preston, nieces Amy Newsome and husband Adam, Megan Preston, and Catherine Stumbo and husband Justin; nephews Tim Cordle and wife Sarah, and Ben Preston and wife Taylor; a uncle Dean Lemaster and wife Linda; and a host of aunts, uncles, and special friends.

Funeral services will be held on Friday March 24th at 11:00 am at Wilson Funeral Home with Elder Bobby Mollett, Elder June Thompson, and Elder AJ Williams officiating. Burial with military honors will be held in the Ide Preston Cemetery on Tadpole Road following the funeral. Friends may visit the family on Thursday from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Wilson Funeral Home.
