Obituary of Charles Ernest Griffith

Charles Ernest Griffith 72 of Blaine, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord on April 9, 2023 surrounded by his loving family.

Charles was born August 12, 1950 at Louisa, Kentucky, the son of Jessie Marie Barker Griffith and the late Harm Milton Griffith. In addition to his father Charles is preceded in death by a son Charles Allen Griffith, a brother Forest Allen Griffith, and a sister Dixie Mae Stambaugh.

Charles was a retired pipe threader for the Capitol Manufacturing Co. and a member of the Low Gap Enterprise Baptist Church.

Survivors include his loving wife Beverly Kay Cordle Griffith; three daughters Linda Kay McDowell and husband Bill, Charlene Gail Bose, and Shantanna Griffith; two sons Jerry Griffith and wife Jennifer and Jacob Griffith; a sister Mollie Stulley and husband Glen; and two brothers Randall Griffith and wife Cindy and Bill Griffith and wife Nancy; 9 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and a great great grandson; many nieces, nephews, and church family.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday April 12th at 2:00 pm at the Low Gap Enterprise Baptist Church with Pastor Jeff Baldridge and Rev. Josh Ramey officiating. Burial will follow in the Griffith Cemetery Blaine, Kentucky.

Friends may visit the family on Tuesday from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home.
