Obituary of Larry Tim Hughes

Larry Tim Hughes, 81, of Ashland, KY passed away at his home on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 following a brief illness.

Larry was born on February 8, 1942 in Louisa, KY to the late Monroe and Katherine (Carter) Hughes. He was a meat cutter. 

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Jo (Pruitt) Hughes and two brothers, Wayne Hughes and Norman Hughes.

Survivors include two sons; Larry Brian Hughes and Michael Pruitt Hughes; two granddaughters, Kristen Hughes and Sarah Elizabeth Hughes; one brother, Clark Hughes; five sisters, Nell Bussey, Sue Sloas, Ann Salyer, Jane Mahurin and Ellen Greer.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, May 1, 2023 at 12:00PM at the Hughes Cemetery on Deer Lick Branch Road in Louisa, KY.
