Obituary of Johnny Ray Roberts

Johnny Ray Roberts born March 15, 1966 went to heaven on May 10, 2023. Johnny was born in Columbus, OH to Bill and Nannie Roberts. Johnny had several jobs his last one being a wielder at Worthington Cylinders in Columbus. He is preceded in death by Grandparents Cleora Moore Roberts and Everett Roberts, Gypsy Adams Wellman and Harlan Wellman, and numerous aunts and uncles.

He is survived by his mom and dad, sisters: Ruth (Mike) Meek, Cindy (Michael) Marquez, Sheila Roberts, Barbara (Charles) Riscavage, nephews: Brandon (Jessica) Meek, Seth (Shelby) Meek, Justin Riscavage, Joshua Rischvage, niece:Mindy Marquez (Ashely), Cassandra (Jose) Asenisco Marquez, Sarah (Lobo) Garcia, great nephews: Nathaniel Marquez, Emanuel Asenisco Marquez, Samuel Marquez, Alexandra Asenisco Marquez, Gabriel Asenisco Marquez, Eli Garcia, Conway Meek, Simon Meek and Michael Lee Meek, great nieces: Josyln Garcia, Sofia Marquez, Olive Meek, and Halsey Miller Marques. Uncle June and Aunt Maryann Roberts, Aunt Jean Carter, Aunt Jenny Jenks, Aunt Nadene Roberts and numerous cousins and extended family.

Johnny enjoyed playing Santa to his nieces and nephews as they went out and hunted for Santa. He loved frying fish and wings for our annual Father's Day gathering.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at 1:00PM at Wilson Funeral Home in Louisa, KY with Rev. Noah Wilks officiating. Friends may visit the family on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at 10:30AM until time of service. Burial will follow in the Yatesville Memorial Gardens in Louisa, KY.
