Obituary of Eloise Janell Griffith

Eloise Janell Griffith 97 of Louisa, Kentucky passed away May 19, 2023, at the Jordan Center following a long illness.

Eloise was born April 2, 1926, at Dennis, KY the daughter of the late Willard and Emma Hutchinson Cooksey. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband John Griffith; a sister Louella Perkins; and brothers Roland, Earl, Dalton, and Landon Cooksey.

She was a homemaker.

Survivors include a son John T. Griffith Jr. and wife Sandra; a daughter Wanda Griffith Elliott, a son Ronnie A. Griffith and wife Kim; grandchildren David Griffith, Chris Elliott, Missey Elliott, LaTasha Griffith Brooks; great grandchildren Charra Elliott, Abigail Sphor, Brycen McGraw, Brayden McGraw, Chris Sphor, Annabelle Hayes, Kenzley Brooks, Trent Brooks, Tyler Griffith, Keith Griffith, Jonathan Elliott, David Elliott, Stephen Elliott, Anna Elliott, Reagan Griffith, Harlee Griffith, and Hunter Griffith; a sister Shelby Jean Hall; and brothers Elwood and Estill Cooksey.

Funeral services will be held on Monday May 22^nd at 1:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Vinny Vanhoose officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may visit the family on Monday May 22^nd at 11:30 am until time of services at Wilson Funeral Home.
