Obituary of Junenell May

Junenell May, 70 of Louisa, KY passed away on Sunday July 9, 2023 at Cabell-Huntington Hospital. 
 
 Junenell was born February 4, 1953 in Elkhorn, KY, to the late Milton and Bessie Laney. She was a Homemaker.

In addition to his parents she is preceded in death by her husband Willard May; two sons Walter May and Matthew May; a sister Janie Marcum; three brothers David Preston, Melvin Preston, and Michael Laney; a niece Jeanie Wells; a nephew Melvin Lloyd Preston; and a companion Terry DeRossett. 

Junenell is survived by three sons Richard (Rena) May, Stephen (Jody) May, and Willard (Beka) May; five grandsons Cody May, Richard May, Matthew May, Walker May, and Charlie May; four granddaughters Stephanie May, Whitney Roberts, Haley Wolford, and Casey Wolford; three great-granddaughters Veronica Dempsey, Harley Dempsey, and Nova Hensley; one great-grandson Skylar Hensley; three sisters Annie (Brad) Dutton; Louella (James) Stepp and Mickey (William) Rose; and several nieces and nephews.
 
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday July 12th at 12:00 pm at the Richardson Chapel Church in Louisa, KY with Bro. Brad Dutton officiating. Burial to follow in the Laney Cemetery in Louisa, KY. 
 
Friends may visit the family on Tuesday July 11th from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Richardson Chapel Church in Louisa, KY.
