Obituary of Donald Phillip Maynard

Donald P. Maynard 75 of Louisa, Kentucky passed away July 10, 2023 at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Kentucky.

Donald was born December 1, 1947 at Inez, Kentucky, the son of the late Blanche Maynard Ward. In addition to his mother he was preceded in death by a daughter Donna Gail Heaberlin; and two brothers Larry Kenneth Maynard and Timothy Ward; and his step father Epp Ward.

Donald was a United States Navy Veteran serving during Vietnam and retired from the Army Corp of Engineers.

Survivors include his wife Connie Kazee Maynard; two daughters Jennifer (Chris) Conn and Miranda Maynard; sisters Kathy (Joseph) Stepp and Linda May Ward; a brother Thomas Ward; and grandchildren Virginia (Dakota) Vance, Madelyn Conn, Abbigail Heaberlin, Allison Heaberlin, Marshall Heaberlin, Steven Senters, Tyler, Senters, and Carolyn Mahala Senters.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday July 13th at 1:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Maynard Family Cemetery on Route 707 Louisa, Kentucky. Friends may visit the family on Wednesday July 12th from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home.
