Obituary of Betty June Hale

Betty June Hale 81 of Louisa, Kentucky went to be with the Lord on Wednesday September 6, 2023. Betty was born June 23, 1942 in Wayne, West Virginia to late Fred and Maggie Smith. She was a Deputy Sheriff in Lawrence County for years then went on to the nursing field where she was a CNA at J.J. Jordans then to TRMC where she nursed for 14 years.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Clarence (Eddie) Hale, her sons Ricky, Carl, and Richard Frazier and step son James Hale; brothers Cecil, Junior, Bobby, and Howard Lee Smith; sisters Ruby Sabo, Lucille Rhodes, Beulah York, and Anna May (Dottie) Bowen.

She is survived by her son Rodney (Rose) Frazier of Fort Gay, WV; her step daughters Heather Fluty and Fiance' Rexcil Ferguson of Louisa, special daughter Haley (Patrick) Chaney also of Louisa; son-in-law Glenn Fluty and daughter-in-law Ramonia Walker; five grandchildren April (Jason) Knight of North Carolina, Patricha Frazier and special friend Kate Diamond of Louisa, Shelby Frazier of Fort Gay, WV, and Conner and Devon Fluty of Louisa; 2 Special Great Great Nieces who she has raised for 4 years Alaiina and Patrisha Anderson; 3 Great Granddaughters Hannah and Hailey Knight of North Carolina and Constance June Chaney (CJ) of Louisa, KY; a host of nieces and nephews and friends. She is also survived by a sister-in-law Missy (Curtis) Boggs of Blaine, Margaret Hale of Louisa and Anita (Paul) Hale-Fugitt of Louisa; and her special friends Scott (Vicki) Naugle, Misty Fitch and Keith Tuttle.

Graveside funeral services will be held on Monday September 11th at 2:00 pm at the Hale-Ash Cemetery Holt Road Louisa with Pastor Chris Wilson officiating.
