Obituary of Jerrell Wayne Marcum

Jerrell Wayne Marcum 75 of Blaine Kentucky passed away November 19, 2023 at Paintsville ARH following a long illness.

Jerrell was born February 21, 1948 at Williamson, WV, the son of the late Boyd and Della Pennington Marcum. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by two sons Richard Marcum and Timothy W. Speakman;and a brother Boyd Marcum Jr.. Jerrell was a retired underground coal miner and proudly served in the United States Marine Corp during the Vietnam War. 

Survivors include his loving wife Maxine Mollette Marcum; daughters Amanda (Brian) Ferguson, Valerie (Fritz) Gearhart, Tracy K. Speakman, and Shonda R. Osborne; sons Clifford Wayne Marcum, Ronald E. Speakman, and Terry L. (Pam) Speakman; daughters-in-law Lora Speakman and Sheila Marcum ; sister Penny (Terry) Landry; brother Dennis Marcum; and sister-in-law Georgia Marcum; 19 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

Friends may visit the family on Wednesday November 22nd from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date to be announced by the family.
