Obituary of Beatrice Stambaugh

Beatrice Stambaugh 81 of Louisa went home to be with the Lord on Sunday November 19, 2023. She passed peacefully surrounded by her family at Three Rivers Medical Center.

Beatrice was a member of Spencer FWB Church, she was a homemaker and a volunteer at Three Rivers Medical Center for 18 years. She was also known as the sample lady from Foodland.

Beatrice was born February 16, 1942 to the late Sam and Fannie Moore. She was also preceded in death by four brothers Charlie, Thurman, Herman, and Raymond Moore; three sisters Violet Thompson, Alkie Young, and Stella Johnson all of Louisa.

Beatrice is survived by her loving husband of 57 years Wayne Stambaugh; two sons Kevin Stambaugh of Ironton, Ohio and Greg (Stephanie) Stambaugh of Louisa; two grandsons Haden Stambaugh and Logan Stambaugh (Heather Carden); one special great grandson Avery Edwards; and one great granddaughter due to arrive in January all of Louisa; a very dear friend Raymond Porter of Ironton, Ohio. Beatrice is also survived by two brothers Art Moore and Denver (Nell) Moore; two sisters Irene Diamond and Hazel (Delbert) Burchett; one sister-in-law Janice Moore, and one brother-in-law Mitchell Johnson all of Louisa; and a host of special nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday November 22nd at 1:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Ronald Childers and Rev. Roger Ross officiating. Burial will follow in the Judd Cemetery at Norris, KY. Friends may visit the family on Tuesday November 21st from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home.
