Surreal that you are gone.
You were my first love. Hard to express the mixed emotions I’m feeling.
We were so very young. We planned on growing old together.
Then crazy things happened along the way. So young. Over 15 years we tried.
We had two very beautiful children and two amazing grandchildren to show for it though.
I will be forever grateful for the family we had together.
Your daughter did amazing taking care of you.
I’m so proud of her. She hurts so much right now.
Josh does too. He holds it all in. Just like you.
No matter how our marriage ended, I never, ever wanted you to suffer and pass the way you did. No one should have to go through that torture.
I will talk about you and keep your memory alive for all of them. Kinslee and Harrison especially, so they never forget the Papaw they loved so very much.
Until we see you again for I know you are surely rejoicing with your Mom, Dad, James and many others that have gone before.
