Arriving here in 1985, Sam was one of my first friends. His family was my family! He had a special way of making his opinion known, while never talking down to you.
Our hardest conversation was about my son, instead of he being angry with Donnie's actions, he spent the most part trying to calm me!
Sam was a strong supporter of 4-H and instrumental in the success of the teen program as he served the Principal position at Fallsburg, and later LCHS.

So I met Richard (Sam) as we knew him at lifecare I work In the kitchen,I enjoyed talking to Sam so much and yes he had his opinions about the food,he knew what he liked and how he wanted it cooked that's for sure,always telling me I should be cooking I would tell him no that's OK.Im sure gonna miss him that's for sure he was someone that is hard to forget.I am so sorry for Angela and the family for the loss of a Dear Sweet kind person Rest Easy Sam ❤️
