Obituary of Patricia Lynn VanHoose

Patricia Lynn "Pat" VanHoose 78 of Louisa, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord on December 10, 2023 following a sudden illness.

Pat was born December 3, 1945 at Ulysses, Kentucky the daugther of the late Everett and Marie Hall Borders. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her first husband James Kelly Vanhoose; two grandsons James Richard Boyd and James Maddox Boyd, brother Everett Borders Jr., sisters-in-law Faye Borders and Judy Borders, and a step son Roger VanHoose.

Pat was a homemaker and member of the Meades Branch Free Will Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband George VanHoose; daughters Sandra Castle and fiance' Phillip Cavins, Melissa Davis and husband Aaron, Kristy Fugitt and husband Jason; a son Gregory Vanhoose and wife Christy; step-daughter Debbie (Dock) Carter, and step-son Douglas "Bulldog" VanHoose; a sister Pam (Jim) Bevins; brothers Harold (Phyllis) Borders, Larry Borders, David (Madonna) Borders, and Dan Borders; grandchildren Tyler Castle, Laiken Castle, Kelly Davis, Kyle Davis, Abby Vanhoose, Lexie Vanhoose; step grandchildren Tyer Eady, Drew Eady, Pheobe Fugitt, Michael Fugitt, Roger (Samantha) VanHoose Jr., Joseph (Heather) VanHoose, George Ray (Colleen) VanHoose, Christopher (Jessie) VanHoose, Jessica (Ryan) VanHoose, L Dock (Laura) Carter and George Elbert (Ingrid) Carter; great grandchildren Gunner Berry, Gavin Berry, and Kyla Davis; sister-in-law Frances Bryant; and a large extended family.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday December 13th at 1:00 pm at the Meades Branch FWB Church with Rev. Michael Marcum and Rev. Jim Bevins officiating. Burial will follow in the Vanhoose Cemetery on Nelson Branch Road Lowmansville, Kentucky. Friends may visit the family on Tuesday December 12th anytime after 6:00 pm at the Meades Branch FWB Church.
