Wilson Johnson 77 of Louisa, Kentucky passed away December 22, 2023 at his home following a long illness.

Wilson was born November 4, 1946 at Paintsville, Kentucky, the son of the late Lacy and Sarah Chapman Johnson. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Kim Johnson; a daughter Vergina Johnson; sisters Virginia Suggs, Gloria Hylton, Flo Pack, and Sherry Lynn Smith; and brothers Bud Johnson, William Johnson, and Danny Johnson.

He was a Disabled Railroader with the Sperry Railroad and served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.

Survivors include sons  Wilson Johnson and wife Ruby and Jesse Johnson; daughters Tessaca Johnson, Monica Gorrell, Mary Terry, and Wilma Sturgill; sisters Libby Sester and Opal Blanton; brothers David Johnson and Paul Johnson; grandchildren Rodney Harrison, Jacob Sturgill, Ricky Harrison, Cody Hensley, Blake Johnson, Hailey Johnson, Jada Babie Hensley, Veronica Harrison, Bethany Marchese, and Christiana Sturgill.

Graveside services will be held on Friday December 29th at 11:00 am at the Greenlawn Cemetery Louisa, Kentucky.
