Obituary of Harold David Daniels

Harold David Daniels 74 of Louisa, Kentucky passed away December 25, 2023 at the Community Hospice Care Center following a brief illness.

Harold was born July 1, 1949 in Louisa, the son of the late Bascom and Laura Greene Daniels. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by two sons David Curtis Daniels and Dwight Christopher Daniels; sisters Earlene Webb and Margaret Adams; brothers James Marvin Daniels, Melvin Eugene Daniels, and Richard Dale Daniels.

Harold retired from the N&W Railroad, and proudly served in the United States Army. He was a strong Republican and party leader. He served as Lawrence County Magistrate and on the Lawrence County Election Board for many years. He was commissioned a Kentucky Colonel by two Governors.

Survivors include his loving wife Freddie Jett Daniels; a grandson David Connor Daniels; sisters Carolyn Sue Jordan, Patricia Lily, and Mary Elizabeth Lemaster; and a brother Danny Roger Daniels.

Graveside funeral services will be held at the Riverview Memorial Gardens on Friday December 29th at 3:00 pm.
