Obituary of Ruth Ann Sunday

Ruth Ann Sunday 86 of Louisa, Kentucky passed away peacefully at her home on December 26, 2023 following a long illness.

Ruth was born October 28, 1937 at Inez, Kentucky the daughter of the late Granville and Opal Fraley Sester. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Russell Sunday, sons William Thomas Bowens and Nim Rod Bowens; a daughter Annetta Daniels; and grandchildren Jessica Marsillett and Sealy Marie Chapman.

She was a loving mother and homemaker.

Survivors include daughters Patricia Banks, Linda Pate, Lorraine Vance, and Sue Ellen Boyd; sons Hubert Bowens and David Bowens, sisters Irene Spence and Bonnie Sester; 29 Grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren; and a special friend of 30 years Denver Chaffins.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday December 30th at 1:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Rick May officiating. Entombment will follow in the Riverview  Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit the family on Friday December 29th from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home.
