Obituary of James Willis McDowell

James W. McDowell 62 of Adams, Kentucky passed away January 21, 2024 at Norton Hospital Louisville, Kentucky following a brief illness.

Jim was born July 28, 1961 at Columbus, Ohio, the son of the late Harold and Margaret Boyd McDowell. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a son Joey McDowell and a sister Anna Garren.

He was a Tower Climber in the communication industry and also painted tanks for many years.

Survivors include his fiance' Dreama Hensley; a son James McDowell; two grandchildren Donovan and Olivia McDowell; brother Joe McDowell; and a sister Jenna North.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday January 24th at 1:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Casey Cyrus and Rev. David Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in the Ball Cemetery at Adams, Kentucky.

Friends may visit the family on Wednesday January 24th from 11:00 am until time of services at the Wilson Funeral Home.
