Obituary of Samuel Stuart Kingsmore

Sam Kingsmore 79 of Louisa, Kentucky passed away January 21, 2024 at his home following a brief illness.

Sam was born January 3, 1945 at Savannah, Georgia the son of the late Hugh and Louise Burton Kingsmore. 

He was a retired Ashland Oil Inc. Welder and loved to race cars on dirt.

Survivors include his wife Phyllis Kingsmore; a son Wes Kingsmore and wife Audra; a daughter Leslie Nicole Hereford and husband Bruce; four grandsons Dustin Kingsmore and wife Courtney and Ryan Kingsmore and wife Emily, and Landon Hereford and Aden Hereford; a great grandson Camden Kingsmore; sisters Karen (Morris) Kennedy and Janet (Greg) Beckelheimer; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday January 25th at 1:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home with Pastor Chris Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in the Yatesville Memorial Gardens.

Friends may visit the family on Thursday from 11:00 am until time of services at the Wilson Funeral Home.
