Obituary of Mark Edward Hooser

Mark Edward Hooser 54 of Daniels, West Virginia formerly of Fort Gay, West Virginia went home to be with the Lord on January 22, 2024 following a sudden illness.

Mark was born April 20, 1969 at Louisa, Kentucky the son of the Frances Atkins and the late Ronnie Lee Hooser. In addition to his father he is preceded in death by a brother Herbert Hooser.

Mark was a plant tech heavy equipment operator for Arch Resources in Beckley, West Virginia. He was a member of the Vinson Masonic Lodge, Past Worthy Patron of the Eastern Star, and was a Christian.

Mark was a devoted husband to Allison Hooser; a loving father to Blake Edward Hooser; his mother Frances Atkins; his mom Judith Hooser; a brother Adam Hooser and wife Brynna; his aunts and uncles Wanda and Ted Lambert, Ritha and Ray Mecca, and Art Hooser; sister-in-law Samantha Hooser; Three special cousins Debbie Skeens, Diana Daniels, and Kayla Daniels; a special friend Barkley; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Friday January 26th at 1:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home with Bro. Roy Akers and Bro. Kenny Crigger officiating. Burial will follow with Masonic Rites at the Community Chapel Church on Big Hurricane Road Fort Gay, WV.

Friends may visit the family on Friday January 26th from noon until time of services at the Wilson Funeral Home.
