Obituary of Kenneth Darrell Arrington

Kenneth Darrell Arrington 82 of Blaine, Kentucky passed away February 6, 2024, surrounded by his family. 

Kenneth was born December 15, 1941, at Mechanicsburg, Ohio, the son of the late Charlie and Della Harris Arrington. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two sisters Juanita West and Rita Smith. 

Kenneth proudly served in the United State Army during the Vietnam War. He was a Lawrence County Agent for Commonwealth Life Insurance Company for many years and later in life started farming which was what he really loved to do.  

He was a member of the Jake Rice 606 F&AM, a member of the Cordell Freewill Baptist Church; and served on the Board of Directors of Grayson Rural Electric Co Op and East Kentucky Power Corporation. 

He is survived by his loving wife Edna Stevens Arrington; a son Darrell Arrington and wife Sarah; and a brother Chuck Arrington and wife Ruby. 

Funeral services will be held on Friday February 9th at 11:00 am at the Cordell FWB Church with Rev. Roger Jordan and Rev. Ledgel Ferguson officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow in the Cordle Cemetery on Brushy Road Blaine, Kentucky. 

Friends may visit the family on Thursday February 8th from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Cordell FWB Church. 

Care for Kenneth and his family has been entrusted to our family at Wilson Funeral Home.
