Ruth A. Cyrus, age 76, of Columbus, passed away July 28, 2013 at Mt. Carmel West Medical Center. Member of Mt. Sterling Free Will Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by granddaughter, Cassie Cyrus. Ruth is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Lindsey; sons, John (Tammy) Cyrus of Reynoldsburg and Bobby (Teresa) Cyrus of South Bloomfield, Oh; grandchildren, Tiffany (Jason) Tinney, John Jr. (Ginny) Cyrus, Sara (Jeremy) Kirk, Jennifer (Burt) Angle; 9 great-grandchildren; sister, Marge (Bob) Stewart; sister-in-law, Betty Preston; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday August 1st at noon at the Wilson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Cyrus Cemetery at Louisa, KY. Friends may call after 10:00 am Thursday and until time of service at Wilson Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers contributions in memory of Ruth may be directed to Mt. Sterling Free Will Baptist Church, 15938 Cook Ave., Mt. Sterling, OH 43143.
