Obituary of Leroy Daniels Jr.

Leroy Daniels Jr. 79 of Catlettsburg, Kentucky formerly of Louisa, Kentucky passed away Saturday March 30, 2024 at Kings Daughters Medical Center after a long illness.

Leroy was born April 12, 1944 in Kingston, Ohio to the late Roy and Goldie Lansing Daniels. Preceding him in death by a son Billy Daniels, brothers Wayne and Mike Daniels, and a sister Margie.

Leroy was a member of the Fullers Ridge Community Church.

Survivors left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Jimmie Gowan Daniels who stayed by his side; one son Darrin (Janie) Daniels; granddaughter Hanna (Travis) McCoy; grandson Grayson Daniels; and a great grandson Walker McCoy; three brothers Russel Daniels and Roger (Patty) Daniels of Ohio and Richard (Nardene) Daniels of Maryland; one sister Carolyn (Jeff) Urich of Ohio; numerous friends and church family.

Friends may visit the family on Tuesday April 2nd from 6:00 pm until midnight at the Fullers Ridge Community Church.Funeral services will be held on Wednesday April 3rd at 2:00 pm at the Fullers Ridge Community Church with Pastor Tommy Adams whom he thought so highly of officiating.

Burial will follow at the Frazier Cemetery at Louisa, Kentucky.

Rest in peace Leroy, you had a long hard fight but now you are with Jesus and suffering no more.
