Rev. James Martin "Jimmy" May 90 of South Point, Ohio formerly of Louisa, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord on April 5, 2024 following a brief illness.

Jimmy was born August 26, 1933 at Cherokee, Kentucky, the son of the late Hibbert and Hester Large May. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by eleven siblings and a daughter-in-law Janet May.

Jimmy loved the Lord and served him as a Minister of the Gospel most of his life.

Survivors include his loving wife Phyllis Colleen Butler May; two daughters Melanie May and Beth Ann May; two sons Rick May and Jim May and wife Gina; grandchildren Casey (Christy) May, Sarah (Michael) Fox, Chase Gilley, and Kyle May; step grandchildren Richard Townsend and Jonathan Townsend; great grandchildren Conner May, Olivia Fissler, Boston Weaver, Kase Martin May; great great grandchildren Kennedy Brooke May and Violet Dawn Fissler.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday April 13, 2024 at 2:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Rick May and Rev. David Boggs officiating. Burial will follow in the Mayne Cemetery on June Apple Drive Louisa, Kentucky.

Friends may visit the family on Saturday April 13th from noon until time of services at Wilson Funeral Home.

Care for Jimmy and his family has been entrusted to our family at Wilson Funeral Home.
