Obituary of Beatrice Jean Jackson

Beatrice Jean Jackson 84 of Fort Gay, West Virginia passed away April 29, 2024 at her home following a brief illness.

Mrs. Jackson was born December 31, 1939 at Louisa, Kentucky, the daughter of the late James Caudill and Susie Cyrus. In addtion to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Fred Jackson; a daughter Judy Lynn Tarkington, sisters Dorothy Bell and Ruby Watts.

Survivors include a daughter Susie (Charles) Warrix; sons Bill (Teresa) Morehead and Fred (Oatha) Jackson Jr.; a sister Liz Schie; a brother Harold Newsome; and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday May 1st at 2:00 pm at the Oak Grove Church with Rev. Mack Ray Cyrus officiating. Burial will follow in the Jackson Cemetery on Jim Cyrus Hill Fort Gay, West Virginia. 

Friends may visit the family on Tuesday April 30th from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Oak Grove Church.
