Obituary of Margie Virginia Vanhorn

Margie Wellman Vanhorn 80 of Louisa, Kentucky passed away May 31, 2024 at The Jordan Center following a brief illness.

Margie was born July 11, 1943 at Louisa, Kentucky the daughter of the late Kenneth and Minnie Sue Kirk Wellman. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Ralph Vanhorn; long term partner Dean Castle; and brothers Kenneth, Dwayne, and Jim Wellman.

Margie was a retired cook.

Survivors include a daughter Tammy Vanhorn; a son Brigham Vanhorn; a daughter-in-law Shirley (Danny) Keaton; grandchildren Cheri Ratcliff and Ian Vanhorn; great grandchildren Cameron Ratcliff, Eason Ratcliff, Hunter Lee Vanhorn; grand daughter-in-law Larcisha Raines-Vanhorn; brothers Luther (Kay) and John (Stella) Wellman; and a sister Mary Garza.

In keeping with Margie wishes she will be cremated.

Care for Margie and her family has been entrusted to our family at Wilson Funeral Home.
