Obituary of Willie Edward Mills

Willie E. "Bill" Mills 82 of Louisa, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord on June 5, 2024 following a brief illness.

Willie was born February 24, 1942 at East Lynn, West Virginia, the son of the late Ottie Severand and Ruby Parsons Mills. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Anna Louise Mills; two sisters Wanda Mills and Marie Brown, and a brother Johnie Brown.

Willie was a retired coal miner and member of the Catalpa Free Will Baptist Church and proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War.

Survivors include two sons Edward Lee Mills and Brian Scott Mills; a daughter Leigh Anna Crabtree and husband Rich; grandchildren Kenneth Edward Mills, Cody Crabtree, Charlie (Sarah) Crabtree, Allison (Timothy) Robertson, Carley Mills; great grandchildren Kennedy Mills, Annaleigh Robertson, Presley Mills, Reagan Mills, Tristan Robertson, Hadley Robertson, Max Robertson, Alayna Perkins, Ella Crabtree, and Lelia Crabtree; sisters Patti Napier, Loretta Clark, and Kay McComas; and brothers Gerald,  Dale and David Mills; special nephew Eric Strickland.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday June 8, 2024 at 2:00 pm at the Catalpa Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Cox officiating. Burial will follow in the Catalpa FWB Cemetery. 

Friends may visit the family on Friday June 7th for 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Catalpa Free Will Baptist Church.
