We, my brother Jason, and I always loved it when our uncle Meral came in to visit. He was always known as Meral to us. It was hard to call him Les. He lived with us in Michigan and was a lot of fun. He moved and lived far away from us. He would come roaring in on a motorcycle he drove from Texas. He saved a little poodle from a pet store that had kept the little dog in a cage for 6 months. He jumped from cliffs into the ocean. He was able to snow and water ski the 1st time he tried. When he came into a room and growled, "What the hell is going on?"You knew good times were coming fast. He was fearless and a good guy to know. We loved him so much. His smile will be missed, so I'm glad for the picture on his book. Thanks, Meral, for being in our lives.
