Obituary of Lorene Faye Self

Lorene Faye Self 91 of Louisa, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord on June 20, 2024 following a long illness.

Lorene was born April 6, 1932 at Mattie, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Bert and Lou Moore. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Samuel Self.

Survivors include a son-in-law Matthew Guthrie; a daughter-in-law Margie Self; grandchildren Sam Saner, Caleb Guthrie, Madeline Self, and Lauren Marquez-Olloa; and a sister Marlene Carter.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday June 29th at noon at the Louisa First Baptist Church with Rev. Chuck Price and Rev. Ronnie Childers officiating. Burial will follow in the Self Cemetery at 970 Long Fork Road Louisa, KY.

Friends may visit the family on Saturday June 29th from 11:00 am until time of services at the Louisa First Baptist Church.
