Obituary of Anna Ruth Ramey

Anna Ruth Cordle Ramey 82 of Louisa, Kentucky passed away Thursday July 11, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Anna was born June 20, 1942 to the late Milton and Edith Cordle. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her precious husband of 49 years, Proctor "Buddy" Ramey; a grandson Trigg Harris; brother Denver Cordle and sister Delores Moore.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law Patricia and Millard Chaffins; son Daniel Ramey; two grandchildren Brittani (Kersten Harris) and Austin Chaffins; two very special great-grandchildren Jett and Briggs Harris; sisters Judy (Randy) Powers and Janet New.

Anna's home church was Brushy Fork United Baptist and she loved her church family dearly.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday July 13th a 12pm at the Brushy Fork United Baptist Church in Blaine, Kentucky with Elders Frank Blevins, Jeff Carroll, Darius Lewis, Greg Moore, and Perry Moore officiating. Burial will follow at the Yatesville Memorial Gardens in Louisa, Kentucky.

Friends may visit the family on Friday July 12th from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home Louisa, Kentucky.

Family asks that in lieu of flowers that donations in Anna's name be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Community Hospice of Ashland, Kentucky.

Care for Anna and her family has been entrusted to our family at Wilson Funeral Home.
