Obituary of Kelsea Shay Wells

Kelsea Shay Blanton Wells, age 28, passed away peacefully July 27, 2024 at 2:39 pm. She was born November 29, 1995 in Prestonsburg, Kentucky at the Highland Hospital.

Kelsea led a very happy, active life filled with family and friends. Kelsea was a dedicated wife and foremost she treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as an Aunt. She had a Vivacious Personality and always made people around her laugh. She made friends everywhere she went.

Cherished wife of Charles Joseph Wells she is the loving and devoted mother of two small children, Ivy Ray Wells (4) and Charles Oakley Wells (2). She has three devoted dogs Sadie, Toby, and Groot.

She loved her family, her beloved mamaw Becky McCoy and Pap Lloyd McCoy; Michael Blanton and Sandie Ward Blanton; loving daughter of Doris Strickland and Brian Blanton; step daughter of Samantha Blevins; Kimberly White and Thomas White.

Dear sister of Michaela Blanton, Alex Strickland, Makai Strickland, Blake Parsons, and Kenzie Wells.

She loved her niece's Kenley Rose Cook, Flynee Joy Estep and nephew Charles Lincoln Cole Bain, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and special friends.

Please join us Celebrating her Life Friday evening August 2, 2024 at Auxier Free Will Baptist Chruch at 83 Grace Ave. Auxier, Kentucky 41602. 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm for family and 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm open to the public.

Care for Kelsea and her family has been entrusted to our family at Wilson Funeral Home.
