Obituary of Roberta Wondolowski

Roberta Sammons May Wondolowski "Birdie" 70 of Louisa, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord on Friday September 13, 2024 at Three Rivers Medical Center her loving husband Joe by her side.

Roberta was born on February 17, 1954 at Fort Gay, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Opie and Romaine Copley Sammons.In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a son  Robert Lee May; a brother Edward Clayton Sammons along with two sisters Kathleen "Kathy" Doss and Marcella "Marcy" Blake.

Roberta is survived by her husband of 24 years Joe Wondolowski of Louisa and stepchildren Jonathan and Erik Wondolowski; her son Joshua Garrett May along with her grandchildren and great grandchild. Additional survivors include two sisters Loretta (Roger) Doss and Janet (Phillip) Bowen both of Fort Gay; a brother David (Megan) Sammons of South Point, Ohio along with many loved nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday September 18th at 1:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. James Vanhoose officiating. Burial will follow in the Hatton Cemetery at Prichard, West Virginia. Friends may visit the family on Tuesday September 17th from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home.
