Obituary of Jackie Holt

Jackie Holt 70 of Louisa, KY passed away on October 7, 2024 following a brief illness.

Jackie was born August 21, 1954 at Huntington, WV the son of the late Robert and Gladys Thompson Holt. Jackie was a retired coal miner and truck driver.

Survivors include his loving wife Betty Thompson Holt; two sons Robert Shannon (Nikki) Holt and Jackie (Ami) Holt Jr.; two brothers Randall Holt and Rudolph (Donna) Holt; two sisters Kitty (Golden) Napier and Sheila (Lowel) Perry; five granddaughters Emmalee Holt, Jadyn Holt, Trinity Holt, Damaris Holt, and Nellie Malone-Holt; a chosen granddaughter Kensley Feltner; four sister-in-laws Nora (Jerry) Evans, Barbara (John) Pennington, Debbie (Gary) Evans, and Marilyn Holt; a life-long brother Joey Adkins; a brother-in-law Ernest A. Young; and a special dog Sequoia.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 12th at 1:00 PM at the Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Cox officiating. Burial will follow in the Thompson Cemetery on the Left Fork of Mill Creek near Fort Gay, WV. Friends may visit the family from 11:00 AM until the time of services on Saturday October 12th at the Wilson Funeral Home. 

Care for Jackie and his family has been entrusted to our family here at Wilson Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, Mr. Holt requested that none be sent to his service. Instead, please give a donation to a charity of your choice.
