Obituary of Savana Mari Steele

Savana Mari Steele, 36 of Louisa, Kentucky passed away on October 9, 2024, at her home in Chillicothe, Ohio following a long-term illness.

Savana was born at Grant Hospital on August 11, 1988 in Columbus Ohio. She is the daughter of Steven and Rhonda Steele.

Savana is preceded in death by her Big Brother Steven "Bub" Steele, her maternal Grandfather Bennie R. VanHoose, and paternal Grandmother Virginia "Sue" Steele Salyer.

Survivors include her parents Steve and Rhonda Steele, along with her two amazing sons Ayden Jude and Kayden Steele. Her Sissy Shanna (Greg) Muncy loved Savana dearly, their children Dolton, Jessyka, Jordon, Raygan, and Kaysee. She has three uncles, Larry "Uncle"Dixon, Jamie (Kim) VanHoose, their children Justine (Nakoma, Carson) Fraley, Ashley, Sheree (Jon Jon, Paislynn, Kayson) Salmons, Steven (Abby, Remi), JoJo, Jayson, and Jeremy VanHoose. Lastly, her youngest Uncle/Best Friend Richard VanHoose. She has a countless amount of friends and family who loved her as well.

Savana's bond with her Maw Maw Tennie VanHoose was like no other. From the time of birth, Savana has also held a special place in her Maw Maw's heart. This bond will never be broken.

Funeral Graveside services will be held on Monday October 14th at 1:30 pm at the Dixon Cemetery on Meades Branch Louisa, Kentucky with Rev. Ray Church officiating. 

Friends may visit the family on Monday October 14th from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home.

Care for Savana and her family has been entrused to our family at Wilson Funeral Home.
