Martha Belle Blackburn age 84 of Portsmouth, Ohio went to be with the Lord on Saturday August 24, 2013.
Martha was born Feb. 22, 1929 at German, KY, the daughter of the late Lafe and Mintie James Spears. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister Leona Roop. She was homemaker.
Survivors include four sons; Wendell Blackburn of Little Rock, Ak, Randall Blackburn of Boone County WV, Donald Blackburn of Catlettsburg, KY, and Danny Blackburn of Portsmouth, OH; three sisters, two brothers, eleven grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Jimmy Vanhoose on Wednesday August 28th at 1:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Yatesville Memorial Gardens at Louisa. Friends may call after 5:00 pm Tuesday August 27th at Wilson Funeral Home.
