Obituary of Winston Dale Frazier
W. D. "Winnie" Frazier 81 of Prichard, West Virginia passed away December 9, 2024 at the Three Rivers Medical Center following a long illness.
Winnie was born July 13, 1943 at Louisa, Kentucky the son of the late Elmer and Mary Lakin Frazier. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth Ann Frazier and a daughter Robin Morrison.
He grew up in Fort Gay West Virginia and attended Fort Gay High School. After graduation he served in the Army in Berlin, Germany from 1961 - 1964. He was a retired N&S Railroad Clerk, a Mason and a member of the Big Hurricane Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter Arlene (Jeff) Ward, a son Todd (Amy) Frazier; two brothers James "Jim Doc" Frazier and Elmer "Lake" Frazier; and grandchildren Peyton Ferguson, Tim Morrison, Cody Ward, Josh Morrison, Lexie Brewer,Tyler Ward, and Addison Kiser.
Funeral services will be held on Friday December 13th at 1:00 pm at the Big Hurricane Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Tony Perry and Bro. Austin Brewer officiating. Burial will full military honors and masonic rites will be held at the Lakin Cemetery following the funeral services.
Friends may visit the family on Thursday December 12th from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home.
