Obituary of Ledford Buddy Boyd

Ledford “Bud” Boyd 89 of Louisa, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord on January 5, 2025 following a long illness.

Mr. Boyd was born August 1, 1935 at Louisa, Kentucky the son of the late Charlie and Goldie Bell Boyd. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by sisters Fay VanArysdalen and Fern Boyd, and brothers Walter Eugene Boyd, Paul Edward Boyd, and Connie Ray Boyd.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church Louisa.

Survivors include sisters Frances Myrtle McGinnis and Juanita Elam both of Grayson, Kentucky, Carol Sargent of Indiana, Laverne Boyd and Donna Jean Little both of Louisa, Kentucky, and Deborah (Michael) Castle of Winchester, Kentucky.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday January 16^th at 1:00 pm at the First Baptist Church  with Pastor Chuck Price and Pastor Tim Ellis officiating.  Burial will follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery.

Friends may visit the family on Thursday January 16^th from 11:00 am until time of services at the First Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund.

Care for Ledford and his family has been entrusted to our family at Wilson Funeral Home.
