Ronald "Ron" Wayne Riner was born in Ocala, FL weighing an even 9 lbs. on a Tuesday, January 23, 1968. He briefly lived in Ocala and then moved with family to Miami, FL in May 1968. He finished his first grade of school at Norland Elementary in North Miami Beach and then moved with family to Jacksonville, FL in August 1975. He went to elementary, middle, and high schools in Jax, FL, graduating at Ed White Senior High School in June 1987. After graduation from Ed White H.S., Ron elected to remain in Jacksonville when his parents moved to Tampa, FL area in 1987. Ron met and married Tammy Fairchild (Louisa, KY) in Jax and their first child, Alexander "Alex", was born in Jax on Sept. 5, 1989. Alex died in an auto accident on Jan. 20, 2007. Ron and Tammy's second (and last) child, Kaitlin Myra, was born on April 14, 1995 in Louisa, KY. In addition to to his daughter, Kaitlin, Ron is survived by 2 grandchildren, Xander and Kimberlyn, a brother, Mike, and sister, Karen, and his parents, Wayne and Nyla Riner, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
