Helen Kathlene Castle age 84, passed away Monday Sept. 23, 2013 at Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, WV. Helen or Kathleen as she was known was a lifelong resident of Charley, KY.
Kathlene was the only daughter born of Willie and Martha Bevins Castle. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Herbert Castle Jr.; one son Jimmy Dean Castle, two brothers Aubrey and Gomer Bevins.
Kathlene is survived by three nieces; Carol Sue Green of Charley, KY, Renecia McKinster of Versailles, KY, and Ireda Scarberry of Columbus, OH; and one nephew Jeffrey Bevins also of Charley, KY.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday Sept. 28th at 1:00 pm at the Georges Creek United Baptist Church by Elders Paul Castle, Jerry Colvin, and Rutherford Blair. Burial will follow in the Sparks Cemetery at Blaine, KY.
Friends may call from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm Friday at the Wilson Funeral Home.
